I stumbled upon this church by chance while wondering through the little streets of Naxos Old town. Every time I would walk through those narrow paths I would discover something new, but that day I decided to take the route which went up the hill. I already regretted the choice of going up hill after a few minutes. The Greek heat was making my climb very difficult. But my eagerness and curiosity won the fight and I continued until I reached the very top. This big old church which seemed gigantic in the little courtyard stood out immediately with its weathered walls and windows and before I even knew my brushes where already dancing over the surface, capturing the subject infant of me.
