My name is Cameron Copley-Heissig and I am an Artist from Munich.
I love capturing special moments in time with oil paint on canvas. My paintings are predominantly inspired by my art travels, capturing the cultural essence of the people and places I visit. The technics I use are influenced by the Old Masters of the past which I learned at the Angel Academy of Art in Florence, Italy.
Already 150 years ago the famous Italian Macchiaioli painters had painted in that exact spot.
I painted this painting on a trip to Livorno in Tuscany, Italy. The waves were hitting the shore with a lot of power on this rather stormy day. The spray of the ocean sometimes even splashed over the railing making my cloths wet while I was holding the easel so that the wind couldn’t blow it away.
